Adam Page
Adam Page Growing up watching hockey, Page always wanted the opportunity to play. He was born with hydrocephalus and spina bifida, a birth defect caused by incomplete formation of the vertebrae. Having undergone 10 surgeries, he did not let his disability stop him. He began playing at the age of six with the Buffalo Sabres. After a season on the U.S. National Junior Sled Hockey Team, Page made his debut on the 2007-08 U.S. National Sled Hockey Team as the youngest member of the squad at age 15. He quickly built an impressive list of athletic accomplishments, making his first Paralympic Team in 2010. Following the Paralympic Winter Games Vancouver 2010, he co-founded the Sled Hockey Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides individuals with impairments the opportunity to take part in Para ice hockey.
